These are the conversations we need to have together. Not in front of the world, not on a stage, not in a big video confessional - but in a core group. You don't need a degree in theology or a doctorate in biblical interpretation to get started. What you need are a few guys who share a common interest and the guts to take the first step.

Starting a Core group

Core Groups build relationships among guys. These are the friends who keep an eye on you and the ones you would joyfully help in the midst of their trouble. First, let's address the word CORE. Is there some special meaning to this word? Not really. It's just a better way to say "small group". Around our office, we noticed that our face got weird when we said those words. It's almost like we're stuck in the 1990's - it just feels overused and hack.
